Project Highlight/
Mapping Our Future

In 2020, our founder created ‘Mapping Our Future’ while working at Arts Project Australia (APA) in response to the immediate challenges of COVID-19.

This online gallery program defied the odds, showcasing over 1000 artworks across 40 group and solo exhibitions during Victoria’s prolonged lockdowns. The project vision guided APA’s digital programming, pivoting to online delivery, engaging audiences confined to the home and connecting with global audiences.

Curated with dedication and insight, the exhibitions celebrated APA’s studio artists and underscored its reputation for nurturing and promoting artistic talent nationally and internationally. Recognising its innovative gallery and studio response, APA was honoured with the 2020 Melbourne Award for Response to COVID-19 in Arts and Culture.
